B&Q Halifax is hiring a Showroom Advisor on a full-time basis (36.75 hours/week) for a 4-month fixed-term contract. Shifts run Mon–Sun, 7:00–21:00.

The role involves helping customers with ideas, using design software to create inspiring options, and guiding projects from inspiration through delivery. You will need strong communication and relationship-building skills, a target-driven mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and installers.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated by targets and capable of converting designs into sales.
• Flexible to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Use software to produce inspirational designs for customer projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers both virtually and face to face.
• Help customers from inspiration to delivery, turning ideas into sales.
