Job summary

B&Q Stockton-on-Tees is seeking a Showroom Advisor for a part-time role (20 hours per week) on a permanent contract. Shifts cover Monday to Sunday, 7.00am to 10.00pm.

You’ll focus on the customer, asking questions and using software to present inspirational designs, coordinating projects and helping customers choose finance, products and installation options. A flexible rota is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated by targets and capable of converting designs into sales.
• Able to work well in a team and solve problems.
• Flexible rota including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand needs and recommend finance options, products and installation.
• Produce inspirational designs using software to support customer projects.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers both virtually and face-to-face from idea to delivery.
