B&Q Limited in Rotherham is hiring a Showroom Advisor on a part-time basis. You will engage customers, discuss home improvement ideas, and use design software to present solutions. The role combines in-store and virtual support, with a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

You’ll convert designs into sales, collaborate with installers, and deliver exceptional service to help customers realise their home projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to translate ideas into practical design options and solutions.
• Motivated by targets and comfortable converting designs into sales.

Responsibilities

• Ask questions to understand customer needs and propose finance, products and installation options.
• Create inspirational designs using software to bring projects to life.
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers both virtually and face-to-face.
