Neptune in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a warm, personable Design Advisor for a fixed-term role from mid-October to end-December, 15 hours over 3 days. The role focuses on welcoming customers, offering thoughtful design guidance, and supporting sales and showroom presentation.

You’ll help with gifting, styling, and whole-home solutions, while promoting kitchen design services. Experience in customer-facing roles and a passion for interiors are essential; familiarity with Excel and Outlook is

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer‑facing role and a genuine love for interiors.
• Able to listen carefully and offer thoughtful advice on gifting, styling, and home goods.
• Organised and confident using tools such as Excel and Outlook, focused on the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, make them feel welcome, and guide them through the showroom.
• Understand customer needs and offer styling advice for furniture, gifting, kitchens and materials.
• Process orders and quotations, and liaise with suppliers as needed.
• Promote Neptune's whole-home philosophy and kitchen design service in a consultative way.
• Maintain showroom standards and assist with events and social media coordination to build relationships.
