Job summary

Pooky in Chelsea, London is seeking two Showroom Assistants to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for customers, trade and non-trade, and to support purchasing decisions.

You will provide outstanding service in person, over the phone and by email, maintain a tidy shop floor, assist with deliveries and stock, and help promote seasonal items.

The role is full-time with a 34.25 hour week and a salary of £25,100–£26,858 per annum.

Showroom Assistant x 2

Location: Chelsea, London

Salary: £25,100-£26,858 per annum

Hours: 34.25 hours per week

We have two full-time Showroom Assistant positions available, with the following working patterns:

Option 1

• Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00am-6:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm
• Saturday: 10:00am-5:00pm
• Sunday: 11:00am-4:00pm

Option 2

• Monday & Thursday: 9:00am-6:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm
• Saturday: 10:00am-5:00pm
• Sunday: 11:00am-4:00pm

Main Purpose

To ensure that our customers, trade and non-trade, are treated to an exceptional experience ensuring they are always looked after and supported in their purchasing decisions.

Showroom Assistant Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Provide exceptional service to customers in the showroom, on the telephone and via email, delivering on our reputation for quality
• Extend in-showroom hospitality
• Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and allow us to provi de a comprehensive service
• Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs
• Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales

Housekeeping

• Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
• Keep our store organised and safe, in line with company standards (e.g. dusted fixtures and products, well stocked shelves, straight lampshades and working bulbs).
• Make sure all products are labelled and prices are all correct.

General

• Assisting with customer service (emails and phones) where required.
