Job summary

B&Q Erdington is hiring a Showroom Advisor on a part-time basis (15 hours per week). You will help customers with kitchen and bathroom ideas, using design software to create inspirational designs and guide projects from initial concepts through to delivery.

You will work with colleagues and installers to deliver great service, adapt to a rota that includes weekends and evenings, and enjoy a competitive salary with performance bonuses and additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building with colleagues and installers
• Motivated by targets and capable of converting designs into sales
• Team player with strong problem-solving and design eye
• Flexible to work a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays

Responsibilities

• Ask questions and explore options to recommend finance, products and installation options
• Use software to produce inspirational designs for customer projects
• Coordinate multiple projects and support customers virtually and face-to-face
• Lead customers from initial ideas through to delivery of their project
