East Cheshire NHS Trust is seeking a Locum Upper Limb Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics based at Macclesfield District General Hospital. Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a current license to practice.
• Specialist interest in upper limb surgery, particularly shoulder and elbow.
• Significant experience of independent practice in upper limb surgery with fellowship experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide upper limb services and techniques.
• Work with colleagues to manage inpatients/outpatients day cases to NHS standards.
• Participate in direct and planned booking initiatives.
• Ensure communication policies with patients and GPs.
• Support clinical governance and education of medical staff.
• Education and training of medical students, doctors, and professionals allied to Medicine.
