Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Locum Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics Upper Limb Surgery based at Alexandra Hospital in Redditch. The role involves elective upper limb surgery and participation in a 1:4 ambulatory trauma rota across sites, with MDT involvement and ongoing clinical leadership.

The post requires GMC Specialist Register entry in Trauma & Orthopaedics (or within 6 months of entry).

Qualifikationen

• Clinical training and experience equivalent to UK CCT in T&O.
• Ability to offer expert clinical opinion on range of problems both emergency and elective within specialty.
• Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.

Aufgaben

• Provide a clinical service in the relevant specialty to patients of Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust and to General Practitioners.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and work within MDTs to deliver high-quality clinical care.
• Participate in on-call rota to ensure emergency and urgent services outside normal hours.
