Recruit4staff is seeking a Shot Blaster in Wirral to prepare metal surfaces for painting. You will sand, grind, polish, and blast components, operate blasting equipment in a large booth, and apply primers to achieve a high-quality finish.

The role suits someone with strong attention to detail and experience in surface preparation and spraying. Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with plenty of overtime and an OTE of £40,000+.

Qualifications

• Wet spraying experience required.
• Shot blasting experience using handheld hose within booths.
• Skilled in sanding, grinding, polishing, and blasting.
• Confident using hand tools and surface prep machinery.

Recruit4staff are representing an established business in their search for a Shot Blaster to work in

Wirral

Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 42.5-hour week

Plenty of overtime. OTE £40,000 +

Job Role

As a shot Blaster, you’ll ensure all metal surfaces are properly prepared before painting. Your work will involve sanding, grinding, and polishing various components, operating blasting equipment within a large booth, and applying primers to achieve a high-quality finish. This hands-on role suits someone with strong attention to detail and experience in surface preparation and spraying.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Wet Spraying experience
• Shot blasting experience using handheld hose within booths
• Skilled in sanding, grinding, polishing, and blasting
• Confident using hand tools and surface prep machinery

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• NVQs in Vehicle Repair (any level)
• NVQs in Engineering Disciplines
