Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a temporary shot blaster in Doncaster for a daytime shift. The role focuses on cleaning metal surfaces using shot blasting to prepare for painting and dispatch. The candidate should be physically fit, able to work in a small team, and have an engineering background.

You will work Monday to Friday, 6am–2pm, with a requirement to pass Drugs & Alcohol testing prior to starting. Own transport is advantageous; free parking is available.

Temporary Shot blaster

6.00am - 2.00pm Monday to Friday

We are looking for candidates on a temporary basis who are wanting to work in the Engineering sector with this Shot blasting role, it's ideal for candidates who are hardworking, physically fit and have a background in engineering.

The hours are Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm.

Own transport is advantageous due to location. All candidates must undergo a Drugs & Alcohol test prior to starting work.

Objective:

As a shot blaster the role is key to the production process, you will be ensuring all metals are clean and free from defects ready for the next process of painting and despatch.

Duties:

• You will be working within a small team and booth environment.
• Using shotblast to clean down metal.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of product from machine.

You must be physically fit due to the nature of product, able to work in small team, be logical and methodical and have good standard of written and spoken English. This role would be suitable for anyone who has worked in a shot blasting / paint spraying environment previously.
