ABM Facility Services UK is seeking a Cleaning Operative for a part-time, temporary role based in Bishop's Stortford. The position operates on a pro rota pattern, typically 16 hours per week, including weekends, with an hourly rate of £14.42.

You will join a team delivering janitorial services across a high-profile client site, requiring physical fitness, reliability, and good communication within a fast-paced environment. Training is provided and health and safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• Basic level and knowledge of health and safety requirements or a willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out janitorial duties in a busy shopping centre, both internally and externally.
• Handle waste in line with approved streams and prepare for transport.
• Operate walk-behind and ride-on sweepers and scrubber-dryers and maintain equipment.
