Job summary

Pinnacle Group is hiring a Shopping Centre Cleaner to join our Workplace Cleaning Team at a client’s prestigious retail site in Sale M33, just 15 minutes outside Manchester City Centre. The role is 15 hours per week on a part-time, temporary-to-permanent basis with shifts on Fridays and Sundays, and an immediate start.

You will help keep entrances and public areas clean, safe and welcoming. During the temporary phase, pay is weekly; once permanent, it switches to monthly payments.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in a retail or public-facing environment.
• Basic Health & Safety and COSHH knowledge.
• Physically demanding role with outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across entrances, corridors, toilets, lifts and stairwells.
• Replenish consumables in toilets and designated areas.
• Empty bins, replace liners and manage waste disposal.
• Perform scheduled cleaning tasks and respond to ad-hoc needs.
• Work with site security and management to ensure smooth service delivery.

Job description

• Replenish consumables in toilets and other designated areas
• Empty bins, replace liners, and manage waste disposal following site procedures.
• Perform scheduled cleaning tasks and respond to ad-hoc cleaning needs.
• This is a physically demanding job and includes some outdoor work
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with training and COSHH guidelines.You will play a vital role in keeping the shopping centre clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors and tenants. You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence., Previous cleaning experience in a retail or public-facing environment.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
• Experience using floor machines (e.g. scrubber dryers, buffers).
• Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or early mornings if required.

We have 2 x part-time temporary-to-permanent roles available, both at 15 hours per week, working the following shift patterns; Cleaner 1 - Friday 1 pm to 9 pm & Sunday 11.30 am to 6.30 pm Cleaner 2 - Friday 10.30 am to 6 pm & Saturday 10.30 am to 6.30 pm With the opportunity to pick up extra shifts to cover for holidays and sickness While working on the temporary contract, this role pays weekly.
