Job summary

Swanky is seeking a mid-level frontend Shopify developer to join our Exeter-based team. You will focus on theme development on Shopify Store 2.0, building performant, scalable storefronts and collaborating with designers, engineers, and PMs.

You bring 1–2+ years of hands-on Shopify experience, strong HTML/CSS/JS, Liquid, and Git, plus a proactive mindset and a passion for growing your Shopify expertise.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years delivering Shopify/Shopify Plus sites.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify Store 2.0, Liquid, and theme development.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+); Git experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy, and maintain Shopify themes.
• Deliver scalable technical solutions for ecommerce requirements.
• Conduct code reviews and uphold high quality standards.
• Collaborate across disciplines to scope, design, and implement new features.
• Share knowledge and contribute to team learning and process improvement.
