Job summary

Quickfire Digital Ltd. in Norwich is seeking a mid-level Frontend Developer (Shopify) to turn designs into fast, pixel-perfect storefronts on Shopify. You’ll report to the Head of Development and work across a mix of project and retainer work in a busy agency setting.

You’ll translate Figma designs, write clean, well-documented code, and collaborate with senior developers to meet tight deadlines while keeping client sites healthy and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Strong Shopify Liquid experience and theme development.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate front-ends.
• Comfortable with Git-based version control and PR workflow.
• Able to manage multiple projects across varying stages.
• Collaborative in a sprint-based team with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Translate Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive front-ends.
• Work on a mix of project and retainer work—new builds, features, fixes.
• Help clients understand Shopify and what’s possible; share Shopify know-how.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Keep themes and codebase healthy, fix bugs as needed.
• Attend development meetings and provide honest estimations and milestones.
• Contribute to internal projects and tools when needed.
