Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Shopfloor Technical Engineer for a 12-month contract based at Broughton, Wales. The role involves supporting production by identifying and analysing technical issues and providing end-to-end shopfloor perspectives within Airbus context.

Requirements include technical shopfloor experience, NVQ Level 4 or extensive automation lineside expertise, and manufacturing engineering background.

Qualifications

• Technical lineside/shopfloor experience required.
• NVQ Level 4 or substantial automation lineside experience.
• Manufacturing engineering experience required.
• Experience complying with regulatory requirements.
• Project management experience.
• Autonomy, adaptability and proactivity.
• Customer focus and product safety awareness.
• Support in Nonconformity reduction on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the production team / Autonomous Production Team (APT).
• Identify, analyse and solve technical issues not directly manageable by Operators & FLM.
• Provide an end-to-end perspective at the shopfloor level within Airbus.
• Support continuous production enablement by utilising available resources & knowledge.
• Contribute to the Operational Excellence targets within her/his area by adhering to the continuous improvement of operational processes.
• Support in identifying Nonconformance on the shopfloor.
