Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a store leader in the United Kingdom to guide a team and deliver exceptional customer service and strong operational performance. The role covers shopfloor, yard and Goods-In areas with a focus on stock lifecycle and promotional changes. The position runs 37.5 hours per week.

You will drive sales, maintain stock integrity, coach colleagues and support the broader branch management team, ensuring safety and a welcoming store environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Proven ability to oversee day-to-day shopfloor operations and merchandising.
• Strong focus on stock control, pricing accuracy and promotional changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Oversee daily shopfloor operations, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Manage full stock lifecycle from receipt to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintain stock availability and integrity, reduce losses, manage damaged stock.
• Ensure high shopfloor standards including pricing, planograms and promotions.
• Drive sales and profitability through strong standards and stock control.
• Coach colleagues to build capability and ownership of standards.
• Support branch management and act as senior on duty when required.
• Ensure the branch is safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming.
