Pay & Hours:

We offer our Shop Supervisors a rate of £12.25 per hour, with a 30-hour workweek spread over 5 days, Monday to Sunday. We are open to discussing flexible working hours to accommodate your needs.

Job Role:

As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our dedicated team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food items according to our standards, while providing excellent customer service. You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and have opportunities for advancement.

You will assist the Shop Manager with daily operations, supervise the team, drive sales, control costs, and foster customer loyalty.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers and create an inviting atmosphere.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assist with stock management and produce handling.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge.
• Prepare food according to specifications.
• Ensure quality control of food and produce.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Work efficiently within a team.
• Handle cash and operate tills.
• Open or close the shop as needed.
• Manage shifts at various times during the week.
• Drive sales and minimize wastage.
• Previous supervisory experience in retail or customer service is required.
• Experience in food production is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
