Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is recruiting a Production Supervisor for a well-established manufacturing business in Dartford. You will lead a production team, plan shop floor activities, and ensure customer delivery targets are met while upholding quality and safety.

The role requires experience supervising 10+ staff, strong leadership, and the ability to drive improvements using production schedules and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience leading a team of 10+ people.
• Manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good organisational and planning ability.
• Experience working to production schedules and KPIs.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to motivate, coach and develop production teams.
• Good IT skills including Outlook/Teams/email.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a production team to achieve daily production targets.
• Plan and organise shop floor production to meet customer delivery schedules.
• Allocate workloads and manage workflow across the department.
• Ensure production is carried out safely while maintaining high quality standards.
• Promote and maintain 5S and safe working practices throughout the production area.
• Monitor productivity and performance against company KPIs.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Train, mentor and develop team members to improve flexibility across the production department.
