Job summary

Mass Bazar in Walsall is seeking a Shop Floor Supervisor to oversee daily activities on the shop floor, ensuring smooth operation and excellent customer service. You will supervise retail staff, maintain correct displays and pricing, and help achieve sales targets while adhering to food hygiene and health and safety standards.

This full-time role requires reliable leadership, organisation, and flexibility to cover busy shifts, including weekends. Immediate start is expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail, grocery, wholesale, or supermarket environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to supervise a team and work effectively in a busy retail setting.
• Organised, dependable, and able to work flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of retail sales staff.
• Ensure products are correctly displayed, priced, and replenished across all departments.
• Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and training where required.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
• Assist with stock control, merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, food hygiene, health and safety, and retail standards.
• Support management in achieving sales targets and efficient store operations.
