Job summary

Aramark UK are recruiting a Shop Assistant to join our team at Campsfield IRC, Kidlington. You will provide excellent customer service, operate tills, check stock, restock goods, and maintain displays in a busy retail environment within our facility.

This permanent, full-time role offers a 40-hour week (5 days out of 7) with some weekend work and a latest finish of 20:00. Applicants must have UK residence for 5 years and be able to pass DBS checks and security vetting.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work in the UK.
• Ability to pass full DBS checks and security vetting.
• Full on-the-job training provided; prior experience welcome but not essential.
• Comfortable working in a team with occasional lone working.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily shop support including deliveries, restocking, and attractive displays.
• Escort prisoners to and from the shop.
• Pick and pack customer orders.
• Answer calls and respond to emails.
• Conduct stock taking and notify manager of deficient goods.
• Maintain health and safety standards and be radio trained.
