Job summary

Aramark UK in Harmondsworth is hiring a Shop Assistant to join a security-sensitive environment. This permanent full-time role (40 hours/week) offers shifts from 08:00 to 16:30 and a pay rate of £14.00 per hour. Location: Harmondsworth, UB7 0FX.

You will deliver customer service, operate tills, manage stock, handle deliveries, and assist with admin tasks. Eligibility includes UK residency for 5+ years and the ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great.
• Handle deliveries, stock checks, and maintain accurate records.
• Support with picking and packing orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shop environment.
• Occasionally escort customers (prisoners) to and from the shop.
• Assist with admin tasks like answering calls and emails.

What we’re looking for:

• You’ve lived in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a bonus – but not essential!
• Comfortable working as part of a team and sometimes on your own.
