Job summary

Aramark UK are recruiting a Shop Assistant to join the team at Campsfield IRC, Kidlington. You will provide excellent customer service, operate tills, check stock, restock goods, arrange merchandise displays, and keep records accurate while maintaining a tidy workspace.

The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours/week, 5 days out of 7, some weekends) with a focus on safety and team support. Training is provided on the job.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous experience is desirable but not essential; on-the-job training provided.
• Customer service experience desirable.
• Comfortable working with a team and occasional lone work.

Responsibilities

• Daily shop support: receiving deliveries, restocking, and creating attractive displays.
• Escort prisoners to and from the shop and manage in-house system work.
• Answer calls and respond to emails; stock taking and ordering.
• Support manager in absence and maintain health and safety standards.
