Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Shop Assistant to join our team in the Judicial environment. You will deliver excellent customer service, operate tills, and help keep displays and shelves tidy.

The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) with shifts 08:00–16:30. You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to pass security vetting and DBS checks. Training and progression are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Customer service or retail experience is a plus but not essential.
• You must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
• Able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and sometimes on your own.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and operate tills confidently.
• Keep shelves stocked and displays looking great.
• Handle deliveries, stock checks, and maintain accurate records.
• Support with picking and packing orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shop environment.
• Occasionally escort customers (prisoners) to and from the shop.
• Assist with admin tasks like answering calls and emails.
