Job summary

CoorsTek New Mills in the UK is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to help ensure materials and finished products are received, packed and dispatched accurately, safely and on time. You'll join a fast-paced manufacturing environment and work closely with Manufacturing, Planning and Sales to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach and good computer skills to manage packing slips, invoices and transport paperwork.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse or logistics operations.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Good computer skills and confidence using business systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack and dispatch customer orders in line with company procedures.
• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, checking for damage, accuracy and correct labelling.
• Verify quantities and documentation prior to shipment.
• Generate and maintain shipping documentation, including packing slips, invoices and transport paperwork.
• Assist with coordinating shipping priorities to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain stocks of packaging materials and shipping supplies.
• Support inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock checks.
• Transport materials throughout the facility using approved equipment and safe working practices.
• Work closely with internal departments and external logistics providers to support efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records using business and manufacturing systems.
• Assist with training and cross-training activities within the department.
• Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.
