Job summary

Azenta UK, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join the Wotton site. You will manage parcel and freight movements across UK, EU and RoW, coordinate weekly shipments, and ensure compliance and cost efficiency. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30; onsite in Wotton is required.

Reporting to the Global Warehouse and Inventory Manager, you will liaise with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Finance to resolve queries and maintain data integrity for reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, freight or logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and customs compliance.
• Strong Excel skills for data handling and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritise and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Book and coordinate all parcel and freight shipments with best value and service.
• Handle shipments for returns and import/export compliance.
• Source, compare and document freight quotes; link costs to invoices.
• Coordinate weekly shipment consolidation for key accounts.
• Maintain delivery schedules and chase due dates to prevent slippage.
• Track and report shipment costs and identify savings opportunities.
• Liaise with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Finance to resolve queries.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and data integrity for reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in shipping.
