Job summary

Parker Meggitt at Ansty Park, Coventry, is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Controller to join our fast-paced aerospace operations. This permanent role focuses on accurate documentation, on-time deliveries, and close collaboration with internal teams and logistics providers.

You will generate import/export documents, maintain records, and drive continuous improvement across daily logistics activities while ensuring compliance and high standards of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics or shipping coordination preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; comfortable with logistics systems.
• Willingness to perform manual handling and PPE use as required.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate import and export documentation, shipping instructions and clearance paperwork.
• Maintain compliant and accurate records within company systems and processes.
• Liaise with internal teams, warehouse personnel and freight forwarders to support deliveries.
• Manage and prioritise daily logistics activities, including the group mailbox.
• Support transport, shipping and authorisation processes to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist colleagues across the team and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

As a Shipping and Logistics Controller, you will support the movement of products across the global supply chain, ensuring shipping documentation is accurate, compliant and processed on time. You will work closely with internal teams, warehouse personnel and logistics providers to support critical customer deliveries and maintain high standards of operational excellence.
