Job summary

Parker Meggitt is seeking a Shipping and Logistics Controller at Ansty Park, Coventry. This permanent role offers 37.5 hours weekly and involves ensuring accurate shipping documentation and timely processing across the global supply chain.

You will collaborate with internal teams, warehouse staff and logistics providers to maintain high standards of operational excellence and reliable customer deliveries.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working in a hands-on operational environment, including manual handling activities, moving pallets and boxes, wearing PPE and working both indoors and outdoors throughout the year

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate import and export documentation, shipping instructions and clearance paperwork
• Maintain compliant and accurate records within company systems and processes
• Liaise with internal teams, warehouse personnel and freight forwarders to support deliveries
• Manage and prioritise daily logistics activities, including the group mailbox
• Support transport, shipping and authorisation processes to ensure on-time delivery
• Assist colleagues across the team and contribute to continuous improvement activities
