Job summary

ACS Staffing Solutions in Milton Keynes is seeking an organized Shipping Co-ordinator to join its logistics team. You will co-ordinate outbound shipments, book transport, prepare documentation and work with warehouse and customer service to ensure orders leave on time and accurately.

The role requires experience in shipping/logistics, familiarity with WMS/TMS/ERP, strong Excel skills, and attention to detail. GCSEs in English and Maths and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a shipping/logistics role.
• Proficient with Excel and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinating outbound shipments and ensuring orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
• Booking and managing transport with courier, pallet and freight providers.
• Preparing shipping documentation and transport paperwork.
• Working closely with warehouse, operations, customer service and other internal teams.
• Managing multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Monitoring shipping activity and investigating delays, errors or discrepancies.
• Analysing operational data and reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting carrier performance management through KPIs and SLAs.
