Who are Safran Landing Systems?

We are a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, from commercial and business travel to military and defence fleets. Our expertise covers the entire life cycle of our products from end-to-end: design, manufacturing, maintenance and repair. We are at the forefront of aerospace technology, creating safer, more sustainable aviation for the next generation of aerospace. Our people’s talents and skills come together to make the feat of flying possible. Here, you can create an impact you’re proud of, where you’re rewarded for your dedication and willingness to learn.

Are you a natural leader who thrives on inspiring a team and going above and beyond to get things done? Do you believe that personal drive and accountability matter more than just technical skills? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our Customer Support Spares Supply Chain is crucial to delivering spare parts globally to airlines, MROs, and aircraft manufacturers. We focus on forecasting, supply, and distribution, ensuring customer satisfaction through robust supply plans and efficient processes. As the Customer Services Supply Chain Manager, you will lead a committed team of supply planners responsible for the landing gear spares supply plan, collaborating closely with Production, Procurement, and Customer Support Managers.

You’ll have opportunities to learn and progress, with investment being made on site; it’s an exciting time to join our growing local team.

Looking after the people who make Safran great is a priority for us. We offer a range of benefits designed to support you, both in and outside of work.

  • We value your time: Enjoy a four and a half day week, giving you Friday afternoons to recharge.
  • Time to unwind: Start with 25 days of holiday, plus UK Bank Holidays, with options to buy or sell days to fit your needs.
  • Sharing in our success: We offer an annual bonus and share scheme options.
  • Planning for your future: A generous pension scheme, with up to 8% matched contributions, and life assurance at 4x your salary.
  • Making your work life easier: Onsite parking, including EV chargers, a subsidised restaurant, bicycle storage, and shower facilities.
  • Flexibility: A wide range of flexible benefits and working options (role dependant), enhanced maternity and family-friendly benefits.

What will I be doing?

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate your team: Create a supportive environment where ownership, accountability, and continuous development are key.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships: Work collaboratively with global supply sites and internal stakeholders to foster trust and transparency.
  • Drive supply chain performance: Balance urgent daily needs with strategic goals, managing risks proactively to maintain high delivery standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement: Enhance supply planning processes and ensure your team consistently adds value across the business.
  • Communicate effectively: Keep all levels of the business informed of major supply plan changes and performance metrics.

What do I need to succeed?

  • Lead by example: Be a role model who motivates others by your commitment, perseverance, and positive attitude.
  • Go above and beyond: Show resilience and determination to get things done and solve problems proactively.
  • Build strong relationships: Communicate clearly and foster collaboration across teams and global locations.
  • Ownership mindset: Take accountability for your team’s performance and encourage others to do the same.
  • Adapt and grow: Be open to continuous learning, coaching, and developing both yourself and your team.
