Job summary

Safran Nacelles in the United Kingdom is seeking a Production Planner to drive the Master Production Schedule and ensure efficient material flow through the internal supply chain. You will develop realistic short-term supply plans, manage production orders, monitor capacity and collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Production teams to meet customer demand while maintaining inventory targets.

Responsibilities

• Validate MRP outputs and manage exception messages.
• Launch, sequence, and manage production orders within the ERP system.
• Perform detailed capacity planning and identify potential constraints.
• Negotiate delivery dates and quantities with internal suppliers.
• Monitor manufacturing progress and implement recovery plans where required.
• Analyse supply chain performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure stock accuracy through effective order management and receipting processes.
• Support subcontracted processes and manage production order closure and archiving.
• Participate in daily control rooms, planning reviews, audits, and improvement projects.

We are looking for a Production Planner to support the delivery of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by ensuring the efficient flow of materials and components through our internal supply chain. Working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Production teams, you will develop realistic short-term supply plans, manage production orders, monitor capacity, and resolve supply challenges to ensure customer demand is met while maintaining inventory targets., Develop and maintain short-term supply plans aligned to the MPS and customer demand.
