Job summary

MSC Cruises in London is seeking a Project Planning and Coordination Manager to coordinate planning, scheduling, and reporting across the full shipbuilding lifecycle, from concept through delivery and guarantee. You will act as the primary interface with shipyard planning systems and guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, international shipping environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
  • 6–8 years of experience in planning or project controls in construction/engineering.
  • Experience in shipyard or marine/offshore environments is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planning, coordination, and reporting support across multiple shipbuilding projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize integrated schedules across design, engineering and production.
  • Coordinate inputs from architectural design, R&D, FAT/HAT, and technical teams.
  • Track milestones, critical paths, and progress with regular status updates.
  • Integrate planning data with dashboards, project controls, and reporting systems.
  • Lead planning meetings and communicate forecasts and risks to leadership.
