Job summary

Orient Express Sailing Yachts seeks an Electro-Technical Officer to oversee electrical and electronic systems aboard the vessel. The role works under the Chief Electrician, focusing on machinery spaces, propulsion, and heavy technical areas while coordinating with Assistants for troubleshooting.

The position requires STCW and company-specific certifications, with contract duration of 2 months on/off and embarkation on 01/Feb/2027.

Qualifications

• IMO STCW Convention (as amended) required.
• Company certification and training per form C601d.

Responsibilities

• Plan, carry out, and follow up on maintenance of electrical systems on machinery spaces, propulsion, and deck/bridge equipment.
• Inspect machinery spaces and technical areas for proper operation and condition.
• Record maintenance and defects in Shipsure and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
