Job summary

V.Group is seeking a 1st Electro-Technical Officer for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises onboard ships (TBC). Embarkation is ASAP with a 12 weeks on/off contract.

The role focuses on the maintenance and repair of electrical plant and systems as designated by the CTO and Chief Engineer. Required: 2–3 years in electrical dept on passenger vessels, fluent English, STCW certificates, ETO CoC III/6, MV voltage certification, and elevator maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years relevant experience in the electrical department on passenger vessels.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• At least 2 years experience on passenger vessels in the Electrical Department.
• MV Voltage certification/experience.
• Elevator maintenance and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair the electrical plant and associated electrical systems as designated by the Chief Electro Technical Officer and Chief Engineer.
• Commit to the Company’s Core Values and safety obligations; report issues to CTO/Chief Engineer.
• Oversee electrical power generation and distribution (medium and low voltage).
• Assist in maintenance and repair of the Vessel’s Propulsion Plant as directed.
• Assist with Elevator, Safety, and Communication Systems as required.
