Job summary

V.Ships Leisure is seeking a Chief Steward GPA to manage galley utilities, cleaning duties, and USPH compliance aboard Orient Express Sailing Yachts. The role requires shipboard experience, STCW certification, and a valid medical, with a C1D visa mandatory for all positions.

The successful candidate will lead galley staff, enforce safety and hygiene protocols, and participate in onboard training while maintaining logs and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language required.
• High school degree or related; culinary training is a plus.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a luxury culinary setting.
• Shipboard experience required.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
• C1D visa mandatory for all positions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule and manages the GPA Galley Utilities.
• Actively involved in cleaning duties.
• Knowledgeable and enforces USPH protocols to achieve required standards.
• Active participation in onboard training programs.
• Ensures all logs are in compliance with USPH regulation.
• Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request.
