Job summary

Orient Express Sailing Yachts is seeking an experienced Plumber to join the luxury cruise vessel Orient Express Olympian. The role reports to the Hotel Engineer and focuses on maintaining sanitary and plumbing systems across guest and crew areas.

The ideal candidate has prior on-board fitting experience, holds valid STCW certificates, and can provide references from former employers. Embarkation is 01 April 2027, with a contract of 6 months ±1 month.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Fitter on board cruise ships
• All valid STCW certificates
• Valid references and/or recommendations from previous employers
• Good command of English

Responsibilities

• Routine inspections of sanitary and plumbing systems aboard the vessel
• On-call and emergency response for plumbing issues on passenger and crew areas
• Maintenance and repair of vacuum toilets, drainage, and hotel/galley plumbing
• Ensure safety and public health standards are followed during operations
