Job summary

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to join the Market Drayton Butter Plant. You will perform both preventive and reactive maintenance across the site, diagnosing faults quickly and restoring equipment to service.

The role requires an engineering apprenticeship and proven experience in fast-moving manufacturing. You will work on electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, with exposure to automation and CI tools, in a 4-on/4-off days and nights

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer or Shift Technician in a fast-moving manufacturing/ logistics setting.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (HNC level or equivalent).
• Familiarity with automation and CI tools is a plus.
• Solid background in maintenance and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality scheduled and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Rapidly diagnose faults and restore equipment to service.
• Identify root causes and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and FMEA activities.
• Work with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
• Apply basic automation skills for fault finding and resolution.

Contract Type: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 6-6)

We are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to join our high-performing team at the Market Drayton Butter Plant.
