Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland in Market Drayton is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician/Shift Technician to join our busy Butter Plant. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults quickly and work to maintain production line performance.

The successful candidate will have an engineering apprenticeship and proven experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment, with strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills and familiarity with automation.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, Engineering Technician, or Shift Technician.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills (HNC level or equivalent).
• Familiarity with automation and CI tools is a plus.
• Solid background in maintenance and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality scheduled and reactive maintenance across the site.
• Rapidly diagnose faults and restore equipment to service.
• Identify root causes and implement cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and FMEA activities.
• Work with electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings.
• Apply basic automation skills for fault finding and resolution.

Contract Type: Permanent, 4 on 4 off (Days & Nights, 6-6)

What we arelooking for in a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician:

Please note: This is a Shift Technician role working a 4 on 4 off pattern, alternating between days and nights.
