IPL Schoeller in Wolverhampton is seeking a Shift Technician to support continental production, working a four-on, four-off rota with two day shifts and two night shifts. You will join a team to help ensure the machinery runs efficiently and produce quality goods.

The role offers on-site work, training to operate blow moulding machines, and opportunities to learn calibration and repair techniques while escalating complex issues to the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Health and safety compliance throughout shift operations.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.

Responsabilités

• Set, process and run blow moulding machines following training plan.
• Perform routine repairs and replace consumable parts.
• Attend simple breakdowns and address non-conformances.
• Assist calibration and repair techniques for machines and equipment.
• Escalate complex breakdowns to the engineering team.
• Maintain clean, safe production areas and ensure timely documentation.
• Cross-train for key production roles as needed.
• Provide short-notice shift coverage for critical roles.
