Job Opportunity: Shift Technician

The company is seeking qualified engineers to work at the Stockton Depot.

Location: Stockton Depot, Church Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 2HW

Salary: New Improved Pay Rates of £18.09/Hour and £19.90/Hour for weekend work, totaling over £40,000 per year plus overtime and paid meal breaks.

Working Hours: 39 hours/week on a rota system.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Completed a PSV or HGV apprenticeship.
• Possess a full UK driving licence; a PCV licence is preferred but training is available after a qualifying period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles according to company policies and repair standards, ensuring safety and compliance with DVSA standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults with a focus on first-time fixes.
• Recognize and report vehicle component defects or symptoms affecting reliability and safety.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified PCV/HGV fitter with experience on heavy commercial vehicles.
• Motivated team player capable of working independently and using initiative.
