Job summary

SUEZ Taunton MRF is seeking a proactive team leader to support daily operations, lead the shift and ensure safe, efficient production. You will coordinate with colleagues, assist with resource planning and promote a strong health and safety culture.

The ideal candidate will have appetite for development in frontline management, be self-motivated, and ready to adapt to overtime as required. ISOH Safe qualification and machine licensing are desirable.

Qualifications

• Interested in gaining experience in a first line management role.
• Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexible approach; overtime may be required.
• Ideally hold or be expected to achieve ISOH Managing Safely.
• A license for machines is advantageous; training can be provided.
• Experience with mobile plant is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Supervisors with day-to-day team management.
• Coordinate with Bulk Haulage & Trading for resources.
• Help meet daily production targets and maximise time.
• Complete daily permit to works and maintain logs.
• Lead toolbox talks and promote health, safety and lean culture.
• Support supervisors with audits, actions, inductions and training.
