Job summary

Subway IP Inc. in Lancaster is seeking a Team Leader for our Lancaster University store. You will lead daily operations, serve guests, and supervise a small team while delivering exceptional customer service.

This role offers a pathway into managerial positions with weekend and midweek availability, year-round hours, and opportunities to grow within the brand.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation, retail sales or customer service and in a supervisory role.
• Excellent communication skills, especially verbal, with a winning attitude.
• Must be able to operate a computerised POS system/cash register.

• Customer service, till use and store cleanliness.

Job Introduction

As a Subway Team Leader you will be the face of our store. As well as preparing and serving delicious Subway sandwiches you will meet and greet guests and deliver exceptional customer service, as well as supervising daily operations and a small team of employees.

Working as a Team Leader is a challenging role but one that is highly rewarding. We are proud of our hard working staff and offer a career path into managerial roles.

We are looking for a team member to work 16-30 hours in our Lancaster University store, Lancaster.

You must have weekend and midweek availability. Please also note that this is a year round vacancy, NOT term time only.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience:

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales and/or customer service is desirable and in a supervisory role. Excellent communication skills; especially verbal and a winning attitude is required

Physical:

Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerised Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday.
