Job summary

FILTROX Carlson Ltd in Barnoldswick, Lancashire is seeking a Shift Supervisor to operate the primary production machine and lead a small team of three to six people. You’ll work on a three-shift cycle (£49,000) or four-shift cycle (£56,000) with paid breaks, overtime and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience operating primary production machinery.
• Experience supervising a small team (3–6 people).
• Ability to coordinate shift activities and maintain production targets.

Responsibilities

• Operate the primary production machine and monitor performance.
• Lead and organise the shift, allocating tasks and resources.
• Maintain safe working practices and carry out risk assessments.
• Ensure quality checks are completed and recorded.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering and technical colleagues to resolve issues.
• Develop the team through training, feedback and coaching.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
