Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing site in Greater Manchester. You will lead a shift team, drive safety, quality and operational performance while ensuring production targets are met.

The role offers £45,000 - £46,000 plus benefits, with a 4 on / 6 off shift pattern (2 days / 2 nights) and excellent opportunities for long-term career progression within a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Shift Supervisor or similar in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to drive safety, quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate production teams on shift.
• Ensure high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Manage operational performance and production targets.
• Coordinate resources and labour requirements.
• Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Work closely with engineering, quality and operations teams.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Shift Supervisor, Production Supervisor or Manufacturing Team Leader to join a well-established manufacturing business in Greater Manchester.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for leading a shift team, driving safety, quality and operational performance, while ensuring production targets are achieved.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing employees, promoting a positive safety culture and driving continuous improvement across site operations.
