Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Half Moon Inn in the North East region. You’ll welcome guests, lead a hospitality team, and model high service standards during each shift.

The role focuses on training staff, maintaining cleanliness and safety, and ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere for every guest. Qualifications

• Experience supervising hospitality teams in a busy setting.
• Strong guest service focus with coaching skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the day-to-day running of the site, acting as host and leading the team.
• Lead shifts and model behaviours for your teams.
• Support training and development, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
• Ensure guests feel welcomed and valued during service.
