Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Queens Head, part of Ember Inns, to lead a team, welcome guests, and uphold standards of service, cleanliness and safety in a community pub setting.

You’ll train staff, act as a host during busy periods and drive a positive guest experience across shifts, ensuring every guest feels valued and welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a hospitality team or frontline staff.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop team members while maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and guest service as host and shift leader.
• Lead and coach team members during shifts.
• Model training and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
