Job summary

CHEP UK Ltd. is seeking an experienced Shift Production Manager (Operations Supervisor Band 2) to lead one of the Pontefract shifts. You will coach frontline teams, drive safety and operational excellence, and manage performance through data and KPIs.

You will shape a culture of accountability, develop leadership across the shift, and collaborate on site-wide projects to deliver measurable improvements in productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading production or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing frontline leaders such as Team Leaders or Supervisors.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs and performance management.
• Experience using production data and analytics to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operations Supervisors and frontline employees to improve capability and performance.
• Drive shift performance through analysis of production data, KPIs, and trends.
• Use data-led insights to identify opportunities and improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead performance reviews and ensure actions have measurable outcomes.
• Develop leadership capability across the shift through coaching and succession planning.
