Job summary

Hunter Selection Limited in Diss is seeking a multi-skilled engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business. This role suits an experienced engineering leader or a skilled maintenance engineer looking for progression and training opportunities.

You will work on shift, oversee planned preventive maintenance, respond to machinery breakdowns and drive continuous improvement while reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager. FMCG experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Level 2 or higher qualification in an engineering discipline.
• Proactive, positive approach with a focus on improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).
• Respond to machinery breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement and team development.
• Report directly to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
• Work in a team or alone on shift.
