Hunter Selection Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a leading UK manufacturer at the forefront of innovation. You will maintain and improve cutting-edge production equipment in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on solving problems and delivering reliable performance.

The role requires an engineering apprenticeship, manufacturing maintenance experience, and a mechanical/electrical bias. You will lead shift-based problem-solving, drive improvements, support audits, and coach

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship completed
• Experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical or electrical bias with multiskilled capability
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, front-line reactive maintenance and get equipment back into service quickly.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical/electrical systems.
• Lead shift-based problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Identify and implement cost-effective improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.
• Support audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach operators on asset care tasks and collaborate as part of a high-performing team
