Job summary

IPS in Bristol is looking for a proactive Shift Manager to lead production lines during the day shift (06:00–14:00). You will guide Line Leaders, ensure production plans are met, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strict quality, health and safety standards.

You will also train and develop teams, manage line changeovers, and ensure compliance with client specifications and company procedures in a fast-paced packing environment.

Qualifications

• Essential H&S L2 qualification.
• NVQ L2 in Team Leading or Packing Operations is required.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and manage Line Leaders and teams to meet production targets.
• Agree production plans within their area and ensure targets are achieved.
• Ensure quality, safety and GMP compliance across shifts.
• Lead continuous improvement and training for staff.
• Manage staffing using on-site HR and agency resources.
