Job summary

Culina is seeking a proactive Shift Manager for our Bristol site to lead the day shift (06:00-14:00). You will manage production lines to meet planned volumes and commercial targets while ensuring quality and safety compliance, acting as a role model for best practices.

You will support Line Leaders, drive continuous improvement, and ensure accurate paperwork, audits, and changeovers are handled efficiently across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Line Leaders and teams to meet production targets.
• Strong planning, organisation and prioritisation under deadlines.
• Knowledge of GMP and quality/safety practices.
• Willingness to cover multiple shifts and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and manage Line Leaders to achieve production targets.
• Agree production plans within area and monitor daily output.
• Liaise with HR and on-site agency for staffing needs.
• Use Blue Logic/Vision systems for production tracking and reporting.
• Produce SPI to quality standards and ensure client specs are met.
• Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
